Gliderus (gliderus.com) is a free online tool that helps users generate, check, and explore WhatsApp username ideas. Gliderus is operated by Gliderus.

Gliderus is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to WhatsApp, Meta Platforms, Inc., or their affiliates.

2. What Data We Collect

Gliderus is designed to collect as little data as possible for the public username tools. We do not require registration, an account, payment information, or a WhatsApp account login to use the public generator.

We may collect information you submit, including brand names, personal or business names, tone selections, keywords, and other text you enter to generate or check username ideas.

We may collect automatically collected server data, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, pages visited, request time, and error logs. This data is used to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.

Do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential business information, passwords, payment details, government identifiers, health information, or anything you do not want processed by the service or its providers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use submitted data to generate username suggestions and related results. We use automatically collected data to maintain site security, monitor performance, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve the service.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use the public username tool to build advertising profiles.

4. Cookies

The public username tool does not require an account cookie. Gliderus may use basic cookies or similar technologies that are required for the site to function, maintain security, or remember essential session information.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that follow you across sites unless this policy is updated to describe that use.

5. Third-Party Services

Gliderus may use third-party services for hosting, security, performance, fonts, infrastructure, and AI-powered username generation. These providers may process basic request data or submitted text under their own terms and privacy policies.

Generator inputs, including brand/name text, tone, and keywords, may be sent to AI providers to generate results. Do not submit sensitive or confidential information to the generator.

WhatsApp and Meta have their own privacy policies and terms. This policy applies only to Gliderus, not to WhatsApp, Meta, or any third-party platform.

6. Generated Content

Gliderus does not create WhatsApp accounts, reserve usernames, or control username availability on WhatsApp or any other platform.

The current public username generation flow is not designed to intentionally store generated request data in an application database. However, hosting, security, infrastructure, and AI provider logs may retain technical data or submitted inputs for operational, security, compliance, or debugging purposes.

7. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect the service and information processed through it. However, no internet transmission, processing system, or storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Gliderus is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, contact us at support@gliderus.com and we will review the request promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability related to certain personal information.
